IRC Tanken Tubeless Ready MTB Tyre - 27.5 x 2.80 Black
The IRC Tanken Tubeless Ready is an aggressive all-mountain and enduro MTB tyre designed for riders who want grip, control, and durability across demanding trail conditions. It is well suited to long downhill runs, single track, trail riding, bike park use, soft dirt, mud, rough surfaces, and mixed off-road terrain.
The Tanken tread uses large, knobby centre blocks to help provide drive and braking traction on loose or soft surfaces, while the aggressive shoulder blocks help the tyre hold through corners. Alternating rows of vertical and horizontal tread blocks are designed to improve lateral grip on off-camber trail sections.
IRC uses a Low-Rebound High-Grip Compound on the Tanken to help the tyre absorb trail chatter and stay connected to rough ground. Reinforced sidewalls add extra support and durability for harder MTB use, helping the tyre perform across enduro, all-mountain, and technical trail riding conditions.
This version is a 27.5 x 2.80 folding tyre with a 71-584 ETRTO size, 60 TPI casing, aramid bead, tubeless ready construction, and black finish. The wider 2.80 inch size provides increased tyre volume, grip, cushioning, and trail comfort compared with narrower MTB tyres, making it a strong option for riders wanting added control over rougher terrain.
